Construction of Dow Institute of Medical Technology (DIMT) at Ojha Campus, Karachi

Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS), Karachi invites bids for the construction of the Dow Institute of Medical Technology (DIMT) located at Ojha Campus, Karachi. This comprehensive construction project includes civil, plumbing, electrical, voice & data communication, public address, CCTV, fire alarm, and access control systems. The scope covers excavation, reinforced concrete works, masonry, plaster, flooring, painting, aluminum works, sanitary fittings, electrical panels, wiring, UPS systems, earthing, and advanced communication and security installations. Items being procured: - Civil works including excavation, concrete, masonry, plaster, tile flooring, paint, aluminum doors and windows - Plumbing works including sanitary fittings, water supply, soil and waste systems - Electrical works including panels, cables, wiring, lighting fixtures, UPS, and earthing - Voice & data communication system including data racks, cabling, patch panels, fiber optics - Public address system with amplifiers, microphones, speakers - CCTV system with IP cameras, NVR, LED screens, workstations - Addressable fire alarm system with detectors, control panels, manual call points - Access control system with door controllers, card readers, electromagnetic locks The project requires bidders to have valid PEC registration in Category C-3 and above with relevant specialization codes, FBR active taxpayer status, Sindh Revenue Board registration, and electrical license. Bidders must demonstrate experience in similar building works with minimum costs of 80% of the estimated cost for one project or 50% for two projects in the last five years. The bid security is Rs. 15 million and performance security is 5% of the contract value. The contract duration is 180 days from the date of Engineer's Notice to Commence.
