Construction, Improvement, Rehabilitation & Widening of BT Roads in Kurram Upper, Kurram Lower & Orakzai

The Communication and Work Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites electronic bids from eligible firms for construction, improvement, rehabilitation, and widening of BT roads in Kurram Upper, Kurram Lower, and Orakzai. The tender follows the KP Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (KPPRA) Procurement Rules 2014 (Amended) under a single stage two envelope e-procurement procedure. Items being procured: - Construction of Main Shalowzan Road to Luqmankhel Village 4.5 KMs - Construction of Nastikot Road from Batay Charai to Rowza Check Post 07 KMs The technical scope includes civil works for road construction and rehabilitation with required PEC categories C-4 & Above for the first project and C-3 & Above for the second. The projects are to be completed as per work order timelines. Bid security of 2% and tender entry fee of 0.03% are required. Contractors quoting bids below certain thresholds must provide additional security as per terms. Eligibility requires valid PEC registration, FBR/ATL compliance, and submission of earnest money in the form of Call Deposit Receipt (CDR). Detailed rate analysis and machinery ownership documents such as Asphalt Plant, Batching Plant, Dozer, and Excavator must be attached. Submission of forged or misleading documents will lead to disqualification. Key dates include the last date for bid submission on 07 October 2026 at 12:00 PM, technical bid opening on the same day at 12:30 PM, and financial bid opening to be announced after technical approval. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 05 October 2026 at 11:00 AM at the office of Upper C&W Division Kurram.
