Tender Description
The Communication and Work Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites bids for the construction, improvement, rehabilitation and widening of bituminous roads in District Kurram Upper, Kurram Lower and Orakzai, under Sub Division Kohat. This tender is specifically issued by the Highway Division District Orakzai.
Items being procured:
- Construction of Road from Sampog to Anjghali Road (2 Kms)
- Remaining Portion from Daboori to Gawanda Mela Road (1.5 Kms)
- Construction of Road from Chapri Feroz Khel to Geraj Check Post (1.5 Kms)
- Construction of Road from Mir Kalam Khel Madrasa to Jabar Nawasi Road (1.5 Kms)
- Remaining Portion of Beland Khel Road (1.5 Kms)
- Construction of Road from Hassanzai to Village Ibrahim Zoona Joharabad (1.5 Kms)
The technical scope includes civil road works involving construction, improvement, rehabilitation, and widening of bituminous roads totaling approximately 9.5 kilometers. The work is to be executed as per work order with required PEC category C-4 and above. The contractor must submit bid security and tender fee as per the specified amounts. The project requires submission of original Call Deposit Receipts for bid security and tender fee enclosed in the technical proposal. Detailed rate analysis and additional securities are required for bids quoting more than 10% below the engineer estimate.
Eligibility criteria include PEC registration category C-4 and above, valid FBR/ATL registration, and satisfactory past performance with the division. Contractors must submit an affidavit on stamp paper affirming the authenticity of the CDR enclosed in the financial bid. Machinery details such as Asphalt Plant, Batching Plant, Dozer, and Excavator documents must be attached. Non-compliance will lead to disqualification.
The pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 2026-08-05 at 11:00 AM in the office of Highway Division Orakzai. The last date for submission of bid documents is 2026-08-12 at 12:00 PM, with technical bid opening on the same day at 12:30 PM. Financial bid opening will be announced after technical bid approval. Bidders should ensure timely submission and compliance with all KPPRA rules.
