Construction, Installation, and Repair Works at NAS Turbat and Karachi

Pakistan Navy, Military Engineer Services is inviting bids for a range of construction, installation, and repair works at NAS Turbat and Karachi. This notice is relevant for contractors and firms experienced in civil, electrical, and water supply works, particularly those registered with MES in Category D or above. The works are to be executed at two key locations: NAS Turbat and Karachi, with a focus on both new installations and abnormal repairs. Items being procured: - Certain Facility of LED Security Lights & Allied items at NAS Turbat - Provision/installation/Construction of Certain Facility at Karachi - Provision/installation/Construction of Certain Facility at NAS Turbat - Abnormal Repair / Replacement/Major/Maintenance / Minor Works at Karachi - Abnormal Repair / Replacement/Major/Maintenance / Minor Works at NAS Turbat - Supply of Fresh Water at Karachi The technical scope includes installation of LED security lighting, construction of new facilities, and both major and minor repair or maintenance works. Additionally, there is a requirement for the supply of fresh water in Karachi. Bidders must be MES-registered contractors in Category D or above, and only those with satisfactory performance in the last two years will be considered. Applicants must submit details of their previous works, including agency, amount, completion dates, and progress, along with a performance report from the Divisional Engineer/XEN. Earnest Money at 2 percent of the bid amount is required, to be submitted as a Call Deposit or Pay Order. Bids must be submitted by 26 August 2026, no later than 12:00 PM, with the opening at 11:30 AM on the same day. All submissions must be made in person at the MES office as per the instructions in the notice. A practical tip: Ensure your performance reports and work completion records are up to date and properly certified by the relevant MES authorities, as incomplete documentation may lead to disqualification.
