Tender Description
Pakistan Railways Divisional Office Karachi invites bids for construction and repair works under the Single Stage - One Envelope Procedure as per PPRA Rules 2004. Firms registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in specified categories and appearing on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) are eligible.
Items being procured:
- Construction of RCC switch Room/Sub stations near Block No. 115 & 230 at Karachi City colony & Block No. 473 Railway Colony Karachi Cantt
- Construction of 18 Nos Fiber Stalls (16x12x10) on Open Plot Adjacent to 10W/HDR Building Hyderabad
- Special Repair of embankment of Dr. M. from KM. 175/6 to 175/1 between Kotri-Hyderabad Stations
- Special Repair to Short embankment of DN Goods/Main Line from KM. 175/1 to 174/13 between Kotri-Hyderabad Stations
The scope includes civil construction and repair works at specified railway locations. Bidders must have PEC registration C-6 or above with specialization in CE-10. The completion period ranges from three to four months depending on the lot.
Bidders must submit bids through E-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (E-PADS V2.0). Bid security in shape of Bank Guarantee/Pay Order/Call Deposit must be scanned and uploaded. Original bid security and documents must be submitted in the chamber of Divisional Accounts Officer, Pakistan Railways Karachi by 11:00 AM on or before 15-10-2026. Technical bids will be opened at 11:30 AM same day in presence of bidders' representatives.
A practical tip: Ensure your PEC registration and FBR ATL status are current and upload all required bid security documents correctly on E-PADS to avoid disqualification.
