Tender Description
Pakistan Railways Division Office Karachi invites bids for construction and repair works under the Single Stage One Envelope procedure as per PPRA Rules 2004. Eligible firms must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in specified categories and listed on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
Items being procured:
- Construction of RCC switch Room/Sub stations near Block No. 115 & 230 at Karachi City colony & Block No.473 Railway Colony Karachi Cantt.
- Construction of 18 Nos Fiber Stalls (16'x12'x10') on Open Plot Adjacent to IOW/HDR Bungalow Naya Pul Road Hyderabad on HDR-TDM Section.
- Special Repair to Short embankment of DN Main Line from KM. 175/6 to 175/1 between Kotri-Hyderabad Stations.
- Special Repair to Short embankment of DN Goods/Main Line from KM. 175/1 to 174/13 between Kotri-Hyderabad Stations.
The works involve civil construction and repair at Karachi and Hyderabad railway stations including RCC structures and embankment repairs. PEC category C-6 or above with specialization in CE-10 is required. Bid security and completion periods vary per lot, with the highest estimated cost at Rs. 40,68,998/-.
Bidders must submit bids through E-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (E-PADS V2.0) with scanned bid security in the form of Bank Guarantee/Pay Order/Call Deposit from any schedule bank in favor of Divisional Accounts Officer, Pakistan Railways Karachi. Original bid security and hard copies of bidding documents must be submitted in the tender box at the Divisional Accounts Officer's chamber Karachi by 15-10-2026 at 11:00 AM. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM in presence of bidders' representatives.
