The Local Government & Community Development (LG&CD) Civil Division Gujrat invites electronic bids from eligible contractors/firms registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the Financial Year 2026-27. The procurement is for the construction of roads, streets, drains, and culverts in various villages across Gujrat District. The scope includes detailed construction of roads, streets, drains, and culverts in the specified villages of Gujrat District. Bidders must be duly enlisted or renewed with PEC for the Financial Year 2026-27 and meet all eligibility criteria as per Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014 (amended). Bidding documents with detailed instructions, eligibility criteria, specifications, BOQ, and contract conditions are available free of cost on the Punjab e-Procurement System and PPRA Punjab website. Bids must be submitted electronically through the Punjab e-Procurement System by 12:30 PM on 12-09-2026. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 01:00 PM in the office of the Assistant Engineer LG&CD Civil Sub Division Gujrat. Bid security of 5% of the estimated cost must be submitted via Digital Bank Guarantee through the Punjab e-Procurement Portal. Performance security of 10% of the contract price is required from the successful bidder. Manual bids, incomplete or corrupt proposals, and bids submitted by email, courier, or by hand will not be accepted. Bidders should note that any bidder quoting more than 30% below the estimated rate must submit a rate analysis before the work order; failure to do so will result in cancellation of the tender and forfeiture of earnest money. Bids remain valid for 60 days from the date of opening. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids as per Punjab Procurement Rules.
