Tender Description
The Local Government & Community Development (LG&CD) Civil Division Gujrat invites electronic bids from eligible contractors and firms for the construction of streets and drains in Village Panjwanan, Tehsil Khanan, District Gujrat. This development work is to be carried out under the Punjab e-Procurement System, ensuring transparency and compliance with the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014 (as amended).

The project involves civil works including street paving and drainage system installation in the specified village area. Contractors must be duly enlisted or renewed with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the Financial Year 2026-27 and meet all eligibility criteria as prescribed in the bidding documents. Bidders are required to submit a Bid Security equal to 5% of the estimated cost through a Digital Bank Guarantee or 1 Link payment method via the Punjab e-Procurement System. Physical bid securities such as CDR, Pay Order, or Demand Draft will not be accepted.
Bids must be submitted electronically on or before 21-09-2026 at 01:15 PM, with the technical and financial bids opening on the same day at 01:45 PM in the office of the Assistant Engineer LG&CD Civil Sub Division Gujrat. The contract will be awarded to the lowest evaluated responsive bidder in accordance with Punjab Procurement Rules. Bidders should note that any bid more than 30% below the estimated cost must submit an item rate analysis before work order issuance, failing which the tender will be cancelled and earnest money forfeited.
