Tender Description
Municipal Committee Shorkot invites bids for a development scheme involving the construction of a Tuff Paver Link Road at Usmania Park. This tender is managed through the newly introduced E-PADS E-Tendering system of Punjab Procurement Rules (PPRA) 2014. The procurement follows the Single Stage Single Envelope procedure and is open to all eligible bidders registered with PPRA/E-PADS. Bidders must submit a bid security in the form of CDR or Pay Order from any scheduled bank in Punjab favoring Municipal Committee Shorkot.

The bidding document containing detailed terms and conditions can be downloaded free of cost from the Punjab e-procurement website. Bids must be submitted electronically on or before 05.10.2026 by 11:00 AM PST, and will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM PST in the office of Municipal Committee Shorkot. A 5% bid security amounting to Rs. 84,400 is required as per the new E-Procurement system rules.
The lowest bidder whose bid is more than 5% below the detailed notice inviting e-tender will be required to deposit the difference as quality assurance security in the form of CDR or performance guarantee within 15 days after bid opening. Fake CDRs or deposit slips will lead to disqualification and blacklisting. The competent authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids prior to approval.
Bidders are advised to register their firms on the Punjab e-procurement portal and ensure compliance with all PPRA and PEC requirements. The acceptance letter will be followed by an agreement on stamp paper and issuance of work order within seven days.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure timely registration and submission of all required documents on the Punjab e-procurement portal to avoid disqualification due to procedural lapses. Also, keep a scanned copy of the bid security ready for upload and submit the original CDR before the deadline to remain eligible.
