Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the construction of a Wazookhana and Lavatory Block at Abdalin Ji Kafi, establishment of a Langerkhana, construction of rooms for placing shoe boxes, provision of cool drinking water facilities for Zaireen, and installation of fiber shades at the historic Dargah Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan Sharif. The Chief Administrator Auqaf Sindh Hyderabad is overseeing this significant project under the Auqaf Department, focusing on enhancing the infrastructure and amenities for pilgrims visiting this sacred site. The scope includes excavation, RCC work, brick masonry, plastering, electrical installations, plumbing, and solar system integration, all tailored to meet the needs of the site and its visitors.
The project demands high-quality construction materials such as cement concrete, mild steel reinforcement, marble flooring, and fiber glass sunshades. The site in Sehwan Sharif presents unique challenges including the need for durable materials to withstand local weather conditions and the integration of modern facilities within a heritage context. The engineering team must ensure compliance with specifications, timely execution, and proper use of indigenous materials as mandated by the contract.
Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) under relevant codes, and comply with Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) tax requirements. The tender requires a 5% bid security and adherence to the 2025-26 financial year procurement guidelines. Firms should demonstrate technical capability, financial soundness, and experience in similar projects. The bid evaluation will be based on technical and financial criteria, with only technically qualified bids proceeding to financial evaluation.
The submission deadline is set for 13th April 2026 at 11:00 AM, with technical bids opening immediately thereafter at the Office of the Chief Administrator Auqaf Sindh Hyderabad, located opposite the Session Court on Fatima Jinnah Road, Hyderabad. Bidders must submit their bids online via the E-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (E-PADS) and also provide original sealed copies of the tender fee and bid security at the office before the opening time.
Pro-Tip: Ensure all bid documents are properly numbered and attested with the firm's stamp and CNIC-compliant signatures. Pay special attention to the submission of the original bid security and tender fee in separate envelopes, as failure to comply may lead to disqualification. Also, verify the latest PEC registration and tax compliance certificates to avoid technical rejection.
