Construction and Widening of Roads in Brongshal Karimabad and Upper Hunza

The Communication & Works Department Gilgit-Baltistan, B&R Division Hunza, invites sealed tenders under Single Stage One Envelope (SSOE) procedure for important road construction and widening works in Hunza. The tender is open to eligible firms and contractors licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in appropriate categories C6 and above for Sr.# 1 and C5 and above for Sr.# 2 for the financial year 2026-27. Items being procured: - Construction/widening/metalling of roads on Brongshal Karimabad Hunza (16.5 ft wide link road from Danlat Astana to Brong-e-Bago Hunza Karimabad) - Widening of Upper from Taltaqdas to Hydarabad Hunza and its Stone pitching (22 ft wide link road from Taltakdas to Tunnel Road at Aliabad Hunza, construction of 16.5 ft wide link road from Taltakdas to Aliabad Graveyard Hunza, widening of road at Boys Degree College at Aliabad Hunza) These works involve significant civil construction and road infrastructure development in the Hunza region, requiring specialized expertise and equipment. The projects aim to improve connectivity and road safety in the area. Eligibility criteria include valid PEC registration for 2026-27 with the specified categories, renewal fee receipt of C&WD for the current financial year, CNIC of the bidder, and bid security in the form of CDR from a scheduled bank of Pakistan. No sick scheme or litigation certificates are accepted. Bids must be accompanied by the requisite earnest money as indicated. The tender documents can be obtained from the office of the Executive Engineer, B&R Division Hunza, upon submission of a written application and payment of the non-refundable cost of the bidding documents through Treasury Challan. Sealed bids must be delivered to the same office on or before the closing date and time of 22-09-2026 at 11:30 AM for Sr.# 1 and 01:00 PM for Sr.# 2. Bids will be opened on the same day in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
