Construction of Work Package 01 at Site Near Karachi

A Public Sector Organization invites sealed tenders from pre-qualified enlisted and security wise cleared Civil Works Contractors for the construction of Work Package 01 at a site near Karachi. The project involves civil works as per the detailed schedule provided in the tender documents. Items being procured: - Construction of Work Package 01 at Site near Karachi The completion period for the project is 18 months. Tender documents can be obtained during working hours (0900 Hrs to 1000 Hrs) Monday to Friday from the office in Islamabad against a fee of Rs. 5,000/-. The issuance of tender documents will close one day prior to the opening date. A fixed bid security of Rs. 4.00 million is required in the form of CDR or Bank Guarantee from scheduled banks of Pakistan. If a bidder opts to submit a Bank Guarantee, it must have an expiry date of at least 6 months from the bid opening date and be in favor of the Director Finance & Works. Bid security must be enclosed in a separate sealed envelope with the name of the work clearly mentioned. Two copies of the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) shall be submitted by the bidder (one original and one photocopy), both sealed, pre-signed, and stamped with the work name clearly mentioned on the envelope. Rates must be written in figures and words in separate columns; in case of conflict, the words shall prevail. The competent authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids/proposals prior to acceptance. Tender evaluation committee may demand analysis of quoted rates to check reasonability and workability. Incomplete or non-responsive bids will not be entertained.
