Tender Description
This tender invites consultancy firms to conduct a feasibility study and prepare PC-II documentation for the extension and development of the Mirani Dam Command Area in Quetta, Balochistan. The Balochistan Initiatives department seeks expert consulting services to assess the project's viability and prepare detailed technical and financial proposals.
The consultancy will involve detailed analysis of the Mirani Dam Command Area, including hydrological, agricultural, and environmental factors. The study will require advanced surveying techniques such as Drone (RTK/RPK) and DGPS to ensure precise data collection. The project demands firms with proven experience in similar large-scale irrigation and water resource development projects, with a minimum turnover of PKR 9 million in recent years.
Bidders must hold valid PEC registration as Consulting Engineering Firms and be active taxpayers with FBR and BRA registration. The firm must not be blacklisted by any procuring agency. Compliance with Balochistan Public Procurement Rules 2014 is mandatory, and firms should be prepared to submit a 2% bid security via Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) from a scheduled bank.
The submission deadline is set for 13 January 2026, with bids opening the same day at 12:00 PM at the office of the Project Director Green, Balochistan Initiatives. Interested firms can download RFP documents from the BPPRA website. Ensure all technical and financial proposals are complete and submitted on time to avoid disqualification.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the evaluation criteria in the Date Sheet section of the RFP document and ensure your bid security is correctly formatted and submitted. Missing or incorrect bid security is a common reason for rejection, so double-check this before submission.
