Consultancy Services for Hiring of Performance Auditor of Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation

The Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC) under the Karachi Water & Sewerage Services Improvement Project (KWSSIP-2) invites eligible consultancy firms to express interest for hiring a Performance Auditor. The Performance Auditor will conduct an independent, evidence-based audit to assess KW&SC's achievement of performance targets, milestones, and reform commitments as per the Performance Agreement. The consultant's scope includes assessing actual performance, evaluating strategy execution, validating data, and reporting achievements and gaps with supporting evidence. Items being procured: - Consultancy services for performance audit of Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation The assignment requires firms registered for at least ten years in advisory services, with substantive experience (minimum 10 years) in performance audits, institutional reviews, or financial audits of public utilities such as water, wastewater, power, or gas sectors. Firms must demonstrate successful completion of at least two similar assignments valued at not less than USD 100,000 each within the last ten years, financed by multilateral or bilateral development partners. Adequate resources, established offices, and demonstrated capability across financial, technical, commercial, institutional, HR, IT, environmental, social, and legal/regulatory assessments are mandatory. Consultants may form joint ventures or sub-consultancies to enhance qualifications. Only specific materials relevant to the proposed services should be submitted, avoiding generic promotional content.
