Hiring of Consultancy Services for Designing and Project Management of 32 Nos Faculty Apartments at IBA Staff Town Karachi University Enclave

The Institute of Business Administration Karachi invites qualified consultancy firms to submit proposals for the comprehensive design and project management services for the construction of 32 faculty apartments at IBA Staff Town University Enclave Karachi. This assignment is divided into two phases: the design phase covering architectural and engineering design, tender documentation, and approvals; and the project management phase involving construction supervision and contract administration for two packages of 16 apartments each. Items being procured: - Consultancy services for architectural and engineering design - Project management and construction supervision - Preparation of tender documents and bid evaluation - Regulatory approvals and statutory coordination - Quality assurance, health, safety, and environment monitoring - Cost control and value engineering - Post-construction defect liability monitoring The consultant shall provide a multidisciplinary team including a team lead/project manager, architect, structural engineer, MEP engineers, quantity surveyor, resident engineer, QA/QC engineer, and HSE officer, all registered with Pakistan Engineering Council. The scope includes site surveys, concept and detailed design, preparation of IFC drawings, BOQs, bidding documents, and construction supervision in compliance with PEC guidelines and local building codes. Eligibility requires valid NTN, SRB registration, PEC registration, and a minimum of five similar projects with a value of Rs. 200 million or more. Bid security of Rs. 180,000/- and a non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 5,000/- are mandatory. The selection method is Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) under SPPRA Rule 72(3).
