This tender invites consultancy firms to conduct a feasibility study and detailed design for water supply schemes across five district headquarters in Azad Jammu & Kashmir, including Athmuqam, Bagh, Rawalakot, Mirpur, and Bhimber. The Central Design Office in Muzaffarabad is spearheading this project to enhance water infrastructure in these key locations, ensuring sustainable and efficient water delivery systems. The consultancy will involve comprehensive technical assessments, design development, and adherence to local engineering standards.
The scope requires firms registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) possessing relevant service and project profile codes. The work demands a thorough understanding of water supply engineering challenges in mountainous and varied terrain typical of AJ&K. Consultants must prepare technical and financial bids under the Single Stage-Two Envelope procedure, emphasizing quality and cost-based selection. The project aims to address critical water supply needs, improve public health, and support regional development.
Bidders should ensure valid PEC registration and compliance with AJ&K PPRA rules, including submission of an affidavit confirming no blacklisting.
