Tender Description
The Abandoned Properties Organization (APO), Cabinet Division, Government of Pakistan Karachi, is seeking to engage a reputed and experienced Corporate Law Firm on a contractual basis with monthly retainership. The firm will provide representation, legal advisory services, and conduct litigation in high-value cases involving recovery of public funds and movable assets. The scope includes complex issues related to banking transactions, securities, Pakistan Investment Bonds (PIBs), Treasury Bills (T-Bills), listed shares, financial fraud, accountability proceedings, corporate disputes, civil recovery, execution of decrees, and related litigation before various courts, tribunals, and accountability forums.

The engagement requires a law firm with expertise in litigation before the Supreme Court of Pakistan, High Courts, Banking Courts, Accountability Courts, Special Courts, and other judicial forums. The firm must have a dedicated team of advocates experienced in corporate, banking, securities, and financial laws. The firm should be duly registered and authorized to practice law in Pakistan, with at least ten years of experience in handling corporate, banking, financial, commercial, and recovery litigation. Demonstrated experience representing public sector organizations, regulatory authorities, financial institutions, banks, or government departments is preferred.
Eligibility criteria include valid NTN, income tax, and sales tax registration certificates, and active taxpayer status. Interested firms must submit a firm profile, organizational structure, details of partners and key professionals, evidence of relevant experience and qualifications, list of major reported and unreported cases handled, details of public sector clients served, proposed methodology and litigation strategy, affidavits of truthfulness, conflict of interest declaration, confidentiality undertaking, and a financial proposal in a separate sealed envelope.
