Procurement of Services for Supply, Installation, Repair, and Alteration of Emergency Exit Gates and M.S. Doors with Wicket Gates (ACS Doors)

The Pakistan Security Printing Corporation (Pvt.) Ltd in Karachi invites bids for the procurement of specialized services involving the supply, installation, repair, and alteration of emergency exit gates and M.S. doors with wicket gates (ACS Doors) as per detailed BOQs. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) using a Single Stage One Envelope procedure with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS). Items being procured: - Repairing works of access-controlled aluminum and iron doors including replacement of floor motors, locks, tower bolts, hinges, door alignment, and general repairs at multiple locations within the MFJ Block, QA Block, SSB, and other specified areas. - Alteration of three existing M.S. doors to create wicket gates with structural modifications and installation of ACS readers and magnetic locks. - Supply and installation of two metallic/steel fire-rated emergency/fire exit door assemblies with 2-hour fire rating, including all hardware such as locks, handles, hinges, door closers, panic bars, and signage. - Formation of new door openings and installation of fire-rated doors including minor civil works and finishing. The scope covers comprehensive repair, maintenance, servicing, alteration, replacement, adjustment, and restoration of doors and hardware, ensuring compliance with fire safety standards and PSPC specifications. Bidders must have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience with documented evidence of at least two similar projects. Mandatory site visits are required prior to bid submission. Bids must be submitted online via EPADS v2.0 by Monday, November 9, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Manual submissions will not be accepted. Bid security in the form of Pay Order or Bank Guarantee is required. Payment will be made after successful completion and issuance of Job Completion Certificate. The contract duration for repair services is 90 days and 45 days for supply and installation of emergency exit gates. Bidders are advised to carefully review the detailed technical specifications, BOQs, and terms and conditions available on EPADS and the PSPC website. Compliance with all eligibility criteria, including FBR registration and active taxpayer status, is mandatory. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids without assigning reasons. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure timely registration on EPADS and upload all required annexures and technical documents as incomplete bids will be rejected.
