Tender Description
The Secretariat of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh, located at Court Road, Karachi, is procuring various cost of other store items for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement covers a wide range of goods including cloth napkins in chenille cloth with embroidery, Pakistan and Sindh Assembly flags, table flags with stainless steel stands, various polishes such as 7CF and Brasso, hand wash soaps, cleaning materials like scotch brite and duster towels, mosquito machines with refills, air fresheners, bathroom brushes, and other related items. The procurement is intended to support the Secretariat's operational needs in Karachi.
The technical scope requires bidders to supply all items as per the detailed specifications including sizes, quantities, and quality standards. Items such as cloth napkins must have the Assembly Secretariat logo embroidered in golden thread. The delivery schedule mandates completion within 7 days from the date of work order. Bidders must ensure compliance with all technical specifications and provide samples if demanded. The procurement process requires earnest money in the form of a bank draft or pay order amounting to 5% of the total bid value. Bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue, Sindh Revenue Board, and hold valid professional tax certificates. A minimum turnover of Rs.10 million per annum and at least five years of relevant experience are mandatory.
The deadline for submission of bids is 08 July 2026 before 10:30 AM, with bid opening scheduled at 11:00 AM the same day in the Committee Room of the Secretariat. Bidders should submit original bid security and tender fees physically before the deadline. The procurement committee reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per SPPRA rules. It is advisable for bidders to carefully prepare their technical and financial bids ensuring all required documents, including tax returns, audit reports, and bank statements, are complete and properly signed and stamped.
