Hiring of Courier Services for Main Campus NED University of Engineering & Technology Karachi

NED University of Engineering & Technology Karachi is seeking to hire a reputable Courier Company for provision of courier services at its Main Campus located in Karachi. The procurement is managed by the Procurement Cell of NEDUET and follows the SPPRA Single Stage – Two Envelope Procedure. Interested firms must submit their bids online via EPADS and also provide a sealed hard copy to the Deputy Director Procurement office. Items being procured: - Courier services for national (domestic) shipments including overnight delivery within city, same province, and different provinces - International courier services with flat rates for worldwide shipments - Fuel adjustment charges applicable on quoted rates The technical scope includes handling consignments for all NEDUET offices nationwide including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Quetta, Peshawar, Gilgit, Multan, and Muzaffarabad. The courier company must ensure timely delivery as per agreed schedules: overnight for domestic and 96-120 hours for international consignments. The contract duration is three years starting from 2026, renewable annually based on performance. Eligibility criteria require firms to have NTN, GST certificates, UAN, a company website, and a minimum of 10 years of experience. Bidders must submit an affidavit confirming no blacklisting and attach a bid security of 5% with the technical proposal. Financial statements and tax returns for the last three years with an average turnover of at least Rs 50 million are mandatory. The technical evaluation threshold is 70% to qualify for financial bid opening. Key dates including bid submission and opening will be notified in the official NIT. Bids must be valid for 90 days. The successful bidder will provide a 5% performance guarantee within one week of award. Payments will be made monthly after invoice submission with applicable taxes deducted.
