Tender Description
The Trading Corporation of Pakistan PVT LTD (TCP), Karachi, invites applications for Pre-Qualification as Transporter (Transporter's Services Provider for TCP Cargo) on TCP's Panel. This open framework agreement aims to prequalify transporters capable of handling transportation of bulk, break bulk, and containerized cargo from Ports of Karachi, Port Bin Qasim, and Gwadar Port to TCP's godowns located at Korangi, Landhi, and Pipri in Karachi. The prequalification is open to national applicants with proven experience and capacity.
Items being procured:
- Pre-Qualification as Transporter (Transporter's Services Provider for TCP Cargo) on TCP's Panel with capacity to lift at least 5,000 MT per day for break bulk and 6,000 MT per day for bulk cargo
- Minimum fleet of 100 trucks/vehicles with capacity to lift 30 Metric Tons each
The scope includes transportation services from seaports to designated TCP godowns in Karachi. Transporters must have five years' experience in handling various commodities and demonstrate financial soundness with a bank certificate of at least PKR 20 million credit worthiness. A bid security of PKR 500,000 in the form of Demand Draft or Pay Order is required before tender opening. The successful transporter will provide a performance guarantee of PKR 5 million and sign an Integrity Pact. They will be responsible for timely and efficient cargo transportation, with penalties for delays including demurrage charges.
Eligibility criteria include valid registration with Income Tax and Sales Tax departments, ownership or exclusive leasing contracts for required fleet size, and submission of affidavits regarding blacklisting, contractual obligations, and authenticity of documents. The tender process is conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 portal. Applications must be submitted electronically by 11:00 AM on October 1, 2026, with opening at 11:30 AM the same day.
