Tender Description
The Supply Chain Management Directorate of Heavy Industries Taxila, located in Taxila Cantt, Punjab, is procuring daily local purchase of emergent medicines and disposable items for HIT Hospital. The contract requires supply of medicines, vaccines, disposable and electro-medical equipment as demanded by the hospital, with 24-hour availability of pharmacy staff including a qualified pharmacist. The bidder must provide original bills for disposable/surgical items and ensure no expired or short-life medicines are supplied. Drug testing may be conducted by the hospital with costs borne by the supplier.
Eligibility criteria include valid NTN and Sales Tax registration, DRAP license, audit reports for the last three financial years, bank statements, CNIC of MD, OEM authorization if applicable, and a certificate on judicial paper confirming no blacklisting or default. Firms must submit a postal order of Rs 2,000/- with the technical bid and provide a bid security of Rs 1,000,000/- in the form of CDR or bank guarantee. The bidder must be financially sound, have relevant past experience with government or semi-government organizations, and comply with all legal and technical requirements.
The bid submission deadline is 10 June 2026 at 10:30 hours, with bid opening at 11:00 hours the same day at the Supply Chain Management Directorate, Heavy Industries Taxila. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes at Gate No 5, Heavy Industries Taxila Cantt. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 8 June 2026 at 11:00 hours in the SCM Directorate conference room.
