Tender Description
The Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Jhelum is procuring medicines under a Daily LP Contract for the financial year 2026/2027. This procurement is specifically for the supply of pharmaceutical items to meet the daily demand of the hospital's medical store. The contract requires bidders to submit two separate sealed envelopes containing the Technical Proposal and Financial Proposal respectively, clearly marked to avoid confusion.
The technical scope includes providing a comprehensive range of medicines with cold chain enabled transport to ensure daily supply, backed by proper storage facilities including cold storage and backup electrical supply at the medical store. The bidder must demonstrate capability with a warehouse area of at least 1 Kanal, valid drug selling licenses, and professional experience certificates especially with government institutions or the army. The evaluation matrix emphasizes registration with SECP, DGDP, and FBR, active tax payer status, and a history of business with federal or provincial government institutions.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to provide photocopies of company profiles, CNICs, tax certificates, bank statements, police verification, and security clearances. The bidder must also submit a 2% bank guarantee of last year's total allocation for LP in the form of a pay order or call deposit receipt. Experience in pharmacy business, organized employment of staff, and provision of 24/7 emergency services are also evaluated.
The bids will be opened on 30 March 2025 at 11:00 AM in the conference room of CMH Jhelum. The closing time for submission is 10:00 AM on the same day. Interested bidders should ensure all documents are attested and submitted in booklet form with proper page numbering and indexing.
A practical tip for bidders is to carefully prepare the Technical Proposal with all mandatory documents and ensure the financial proposal is separately sealed and clearly marked. This avoids disqualification due to procedural errors. Also, maintaining a valid drug selling license and security clearance from defense organizations is crucial for eligibility in this tender.
