Deployment of GPON Network at NTC Kohat

The National Telecommunication Corporation Peshawar is procuring the deployment of a GPON network at its Kohat site. This project involves the installation and commissioning of fiber optic network infrastructure including ONTs, drop fiber cables, aerial OFC fibers, joint enclosures, optical splitters, patch cords, and associated accessories. The scope also covers construction of RCC hand holes and proper installation on walls, poles, and roofs as per site requirements. Eligible bidders must be registered with FBR and hold valid PEC registration in category EE-07 or EE-08. Firms should have a clean litigation record and must not be blacklisted. Experience in similar telecommunication infrastructure projects is essential. The bid security or earnest money required is PKR 50,000 in the form of a bank draft or CDR valid for 120 days beyond bid validity. The technical bid will be opened on 14th July 2026 at 11:30 AM at the NTC Peshawar Directorate. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes following the single stage single envelope procedure. No emailed or faxed bids will be accepted. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance security equivalent to 10% of the contract value valid for 12 months beyond completion. Bidders should ensure all documents including tax registration, PEC certificates, and technical experience proofs are complete and properly attested. A practical tip is to carefully prepare the Bill of Quantities and ensure compliance with all technical specifications to avoid disqualification during the technical evaluation. Timely submission before the deadline is critical to avoid rejection.
