Tender Description
The Pakistan Post Southern Punjab Circle Multan is procuring private security guard services for its General Post Offices, Head and Sub Post Offices across multiple districts including Bahawal Nagar, Bahawalpur, Lodhran, D.G. Khan, Rajanpur, Khanewal, Layyah, Muzaffargarh, Multan, R.Y. Khan, Sahiwal, Pakpattan, and Vehari. This procurement is for a one-year contract with possible extension based on satisfactory performance.
The scope includes deployment of security guards equipped with metal detectors and view mirrors, ensuring safety and security at post office premises. Guards must be trained in security and firefighting, with at least one year of experience and availability of fifteen bullets/cartridges per armed guard. The contractor must provide guards on a permanent payroll basis with a minimum contract period of six months. Guards will not be posted or replaced without prior approval, and alternate guards must be provided during leaves.
Eligible bidders must be financially sound security service providers registered with FBR and active on the Active Taxpayers List. They must comply with all technical and financial bid requirements, including submission of earnest money (CDR) and relevant documentation such as CNIC copies, service cards, police clearance, and security training certificates. Bids will be submitted electronically via EPADS and opened in the presence of bidders on 22-04-2026 at 11:00 AM at the Pakistan Post office Multan.
The tender emphasizes strict compliance with labor laws, government policies, and minimum wage requirements. Penalties apply for absence or misconduct of guards. The contractor will be responsible for all salary payments, taxes, and levies. The contract includes grievance redressal mechanisms and reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without assigning reasons.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that the financial bid is submitted in a separate sealed envelope as per instructions and that all required documents are complete and properly attested to avoid disqualification. Early preparation of the technical bid and earnest money deposit will facilitate smooth participation in this competitive tender.
