Design & Construction/Fabrication of Steel Structure Storage Shed at Office of Chief Engineer Electricity Muzaffarabad

The Azad Jammu & Kashmir Electricity Department (AJKED) invites sealed bids from eligible firms registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council and possessing up-to-date Income Tax registration with FBR/AJK IRD. The procurement is for the design, construction, and fabrication of a Steel Structure Storage Shed at the Office of the Chief Engineer Electricity in Muzaffarabad. Items being procured: - Design & Construction/Fabrication of Steel Structure Storage Shed at Office of Chief Engineer Electricity Muzaffarabad (Bid Security Rs. 70,000,000) The scope includes complete design and fabrication of the steel structure storage shed, ensuring compliance with relevant engineering standards and specifications. Bidders must demonstrate experience with at least one similar contract completed within the last five years, including design and construction/fabrication. Valid PEC registration with Category C-6 or above and specialization codes CE-10 & BC-01 is mandatory. Additionally, registration with Azad Jammu & Kashmir Inland Revenue Department (AJK-IRD) or Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for income tax purposes is required. Bidding will be conducted under the Single Stage One Envelope Bidding Procedure as per AJK PPRA Rules 2017. Bid security must be attached in the form of CDR, Bank Draft, Pay Order, or Bank Guarantee issued by a scheduled bank in favor of the Executive Engineer (Electricity Grid/Transmission Lines Division Rawalakot), valid for 28 days beyond the bid validity period. The bid submission deadline is 28th September 2026 by 10:30 AM at the Directorate Grids/Transmission Lines office, Muzaffarabad. Bids will be opened the same day at 11:00 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Interested bidders may obtain bidding documents from 10th September 2026 to 28th September 2026 upon submission of a written application and payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 3,000 per set.
