Tender Description

The Communication & Works Department Gilgit-Baltistan, B&R Division Hunza, invites sealed bids under the Single Stage Two Envelope (SSTE) bidding procedure from reputed and experienced contractors, firms, or joint ventures registered with valid PEC Registration for the current financial year 2026-27. The procurement is for the establishment of an emergency services 1122 complex at Hunza. Items being procured: - Establishment of emergency services 1122 complex at Hunza This project involves civil works for the construction of the emergency services complex, requiring contractors with PEC registration category C-5 and above, including CE-10. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 45,854,434/-. Bidders must submit a bid security of Rs. 917,089/- in the form of a CDR from a scheduled bank of Pakistan, clearly mentioning the name of the contractor or firm. The cost of the tender form is Rs. 10,000/-. Eligibility criteria include valid PEC registration for 2026-27, renewal fee receipt of C&WD for the current financial year, CNIC of the prospective bidder, and no sick scheme or litigation certificates. Only project-specific Power of Attorney issued on behalf of the CEO, MD, or Director of the firm will be accepted, duly attested by a First-Class Magistrate. The bids must be submitted to the office of the Executive Engineer, B&R Division Hunza, before the closing date and time of 29th September 2026 at 12:00 pm. The bids will be opened on the same day at 12:30 pm in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. A pre-bid meeting will be held at the office of the Superintending Engineer C&WD, Circle Office Hunza/Nagar on 24th September 2026 at 11:00 am. Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their technical and financial bids in accordance with the bidding documents and ensure timely submission. Procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids as per Rule 36 of the GB-PPRA Rules. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your bid security (CDR) is properly issued by a scheduled bank and clearly mentions your firm's name to avoid disqualification.
