Tender Description
This tender invites consultancy firms to provide design review and construction supervision services for the development of a General Aviation, Line Maintenance & MRO facility including taxiways, apron, and the construction of an FBO building at Islamabad International Airport. The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) is seeking experienced engineering consultants with expertise in airport and aviation projects based in Islamabad. The scope covers detailed oversight of construction activities, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and project specifications at a major international airport.
Consultants must have active PEC registration with profile codes 1201 and 1216, and service codes 0531, 0532, and 0546. Firms should also be on the Active Taxpayers List of the Federal Board of Revenue for the 2025-26 financial year. The project demands thorough knowledge of airport infrastructure, including taxiways and apron construction, which involves complex engineering challenges such as pavement design and load management.
Bidders are advised to ensure their PEC categories and FBR status are current and valid. The tender follows the PPRA Procurement of Consultancy Services Regulations, 2010, under the QCBS method. This means technical competence and cost efficiency will be evaluated carefully.
