Tender Description
Karachi Metropolitan Corporation is inviting sealed tenders for the development of Family/Ground at UC-1 Sohrab Goth Town, KMC, for the financial year 2026-2027. This procurement is being managed by the Parks & Horticulture Department, KMC, and is open to contractors registered with PEC in the relevant category and specialized codes. The project is located in Karachi and aims to enhance recreational infrastructure for the local community.
Items being procured:
- Dismantling cement concrete works in any description (3000 P/Cft)
- Cartage of sand bajri lime and all kinds of soil (3000 P/Cft)
- Providing and laying dry rammed bricks or stone ballast (600 Cft)
- Erection and removal of centering for RCC or plain cement concrete works (3000 P/Sft)
- Providing and laying 1:4:8 cement concrete (900 P/Cft)
- Providing and fixing cement paving blocks flooring (20000 P/Sft)
- Providing and laying 1:3:6 cement concrete solid block masonry wall (4500 P/Cft)
- Providing and fixing precast kerb stone plain grey (5000 P/Rft)
- Providing and laying cement concrete 1:2:4 situ plan (4500 P/Cft)
- P/L RCC work including all labour and material except reinforcement (2000 P/Cft)
- Fabrication of steel reinforcement for cement concrete (18 Cwt)
- Laying plaster ½ inch thick (8000 P/Sft)
- Providing and laying 15 CM thick layer of granular sub base course (10000 '/,Cft)
The technical scope covers a wide range of civil works, including demolition, earthworks, concrete laying, paving, masonry, kerb stone installation, RCC works, steel reinforcement, plastering, and sub-base preparation. All works must comply with the specifications and directions of the Engineer Incharge.
Eligibility requires valid PEC registration up to December 2026 in category C-5 or above with specialized codes CE-01, CE-09, CE-10, audited financials for the last three years, NTN and Sindh Revenue Board registration, and documentary evidence of machinery and equipment. Earnest Money of **PKR 2,500,000** and a non-refundable tender fee of **PKR 5,000** are mandatory. Bidders must submit both online via EPADS SPPRA Sindh and physically at the office of the Chairman Procurement Committee, Parks & Horticulture Department, KMC, inside Bagh-e-Jinnah (Frere Hall), Fatima Jinnah Road, Karachi.
The deadline for bid submission is **28-08-2026 by 10:00 AM**. Bids will be opened the same day at 10:30 AM. A practical tip: ensure all documents are properly attested and stamped, and quote rates in both words and figures with no more than two decimal places to avoid disqualification.
