Procurement of Dietary and Food Items for Social Welfare Institutions Lahore Division 2026

The Divisional Director of Social Welfare and Bait-Ul-Maal, Punjab Lahore Division, is inviting bids for the procurement of dietary and food items for various social welfare institutions under its administrative control. This procurement is for the financial year 2026 and covers multiple facilities including Old Age Home Lahore, Skill Development Center for Persons with Disabilities Lahore, Center for Intellectually Challenged Children Lahore, Half-Way Home Lahore, Welfare Home for Beggars, Lahore, and Shelter Homes in Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, and Nankana Sahib. Items being procured: - Dietary / Food items (for daily, weekly, fortnightly, and monthly supply as per requirement) The scope of supply includes the provision of all dietary and food items required by the listed institutions. Bidders must ensure timely and quality supply of these items as per the schedule and requirements set by the department. The contract period will be for one year, with the possibility of extension based on satisfactory performance and the department's discretion. Eligible bidders must be reputed GST registered firms with experience in supplying food items to institutions. Bidders are required to submit a bid security of 2% of the total estimated cost (Rs. 900,000) in the form of a CDR or pay order, as per Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. The bidding process will follow the single stage two envelope procedure, with technical and financial proposals to be submitted online via Punjab E-PROC (www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk). Only electronic bids will be accepted; hard copies will not be entertained. The last date for submission of bids is Thursday, 27 August 2026 at 11:00 AM, and the opening of tenders will take place the same day at 11:30 AM.
