Tender Description
This tender invites sealed bids for the disposal of various bank-owned vehicles located in Karachi by the National Bank of Pakistan. The vehicles include models such as Suzuki Mehran, Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic Turbo, Toyota Fortuner, and Range Rover, all offered on an 'as is where is' basis. Interested bidders can inspect the vehicles at the bank premises between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM from 17th to 19th February 2026. The disposal process requires submission of earnest money in the form of Pay Order, Demand Draft, or Banker's Cheque in favor of NBP, with bid security amounts specified per vehicle. Bidders may submit offers for one or multiple vehicles.
The vehicles are registered in Karachi and come with original books and files. The successful bidder must pay 100% of the offered price within ten days of bid acceptance and is responsible for vehicle transfer fees and taxes. Removal of vehicles must be completed within 30 days of award at the bidder's own risk and cost. The tender emphasizes compliance with tax registration and active taxpayer status, and bidders must not be employees or family members of NBP staff. Bids will be opened on 4th March 2026 at 11:30 AM in the NBP Auditorium, Karachi.
Bidders should ensure they meet PEC and FBR requirements, including valid registration and active taxpayer listing for the financial year 2025-26. The tender documents are available free of cost upon written application or via the official websites. The bank reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to reinitiate the disposal process if necessary.
Submission deadline is strictly on 4th March 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening at 11:30 AM at the NBP Head Office Auditorium, Karachi. Physical submission of sealed bids along with required earnest money is mandatory. The contact person for inspections and queries is Mr. Ali Asad, Transport Officer, reachable at 021-99062738.
Pro-Tip: Make sure to carefully review the bid security requirements and ensure all forms are properly completed and submitted. Missing or incorrect earnest money submissions are a common cause for disqualification. Also, inspect vehicles thoroughly during the survey period to avoid surprises post-purchase.
