Tender Description
This disposal opportunity in Karachi is issued by the National Bank of Pakistan, Logistics, Communications & Marketing Group for obsolete printed and general stationery items in shredded paper form. The items include shredded bank standard forms, books, and table stationery with an approximate total weight of 59,500 KG. The disposal is conducted under strict terms ensuring all items bearing the NBP name or logo are shredded before sale.
The disposal process requires bidders to visit the NBP Stationery & Store at Meher Sons Building Karachi for inspection between 16th and 18th March 2026 during office hours. Bidders must submit sealed bids with earnest money in the form of a pay order or demand draft in favor of NBP by 2nd April 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Bids will be opened the same day at 11:30 a.m. at the NBP Auditorium, Head Office Karachi. The successful bidder must deposit 100% payment within 60 days and remove the items within 90 days at their own cost and risk.
Bidders should ensure they are registered taxpayers with an active tax status and not blacklisted or involved in litigation with government entities. Compliance with PEC categories is not applicable as this is a disposal of obsolete goods. However, bidders must adhere to FBR and ATL requirements for tax purposes and submit all required documentation including bid forms and undertakings.
The submission deadline is strictly enforced on 2nd April 2026 at 11:00 a.m. with bid opening at 11:30 a.m. at the NBP Head Office Karachi. All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the Divisional Head (A) Procurement Division, NBP, Head Office Karachi. Late bids will be rejected.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the bid security and earnest money requirements as pay orders or demand drafts must be correctly drawn in favor of NBP. Also, inspect the items in person during the specified dates to assess the condition and quantity before bidding to avoid surprises. Ensure all bid documents are complete and signed to prevent disqualification.
