Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the disposal of scrap items located at the State Bank of Pakistan Banking Services Corporation (SBP BSC) Head Office in Karachi. The procurement is managed by the General Services Department of SBP BSC and covers two lots: office equipment at North Nazimabad and EDP equipment at Hyderabad. The category includes furniture, fixtures, photocopy machines, fax machines, LED monitors, PCs, servers, storage devices, and network equipment.
The disposal is on an 'As is where is' basis, requiring bidders to inspect the items during weekdays between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. The process follows a single stage one envelope procedure under Rule 36(a) of the Public Procurement Rules 2004. Bidders must submit a security deposit via pay order or demand draft for each lot separately. The highest bid for each lot will be accepted, and the successful bidder must pay 100% of the offered price within seven days of the award notification. Removal of scrap items is the responsibility of the successful bidder, including all associated risks and costs.
Bidders must be registered tax filers appearing on the active taxpayers list of FBR and must not be blacklisted or debarred by any government or regulatory authority including NACTA. Compliance with PEC categories is not applicable as this is a disposal tender. However, bidders should ensure they meet all tax and regulatory requirements for the fiscal year 2025-26, including submission of advance tax under section 236-A before lifting the items.
The submission deadline is set for April 29, 2026, at 11:00 AM, with bid opening at 11:30 AM on the same day at the SBP BSC Head Office, 3rd Floor, BSC House, I.I. Chundrigar Road, Karachi. Bids must be sealed and marked accordingly. The physical submission method is required, and all bids must include the specified security deposit.
