The Communication & Works Department Government of Punjab invites bids from eligible engineering firms and contractors for the dualization and improvement of the metalled road from Muzaffargarh Alipur Head Punjnad Taranda Muhammad Pannah Road (N-70) to District Boundary Muzaffargarh (M-5) with a total length of 90.00 Km under Phase-I. This project involves construction and improvement of roads including rigid pavement laid by using concrete batching plant and concrete paving machine. The work also includes TST, DST, and surfacing executed by mechanized systems. The project is located in Muzaffargarh city, Punjab. Items being procured: - Dualization / Improvement of metalled road from Muzaffargarh Alipur Head Punjnad Taranda Muhammad Pannah road (N-70) to District Boundary Muzaffargarh (M-5) length 90.00 Km Phase-I The technical scope requires sound experience in construction of roads, pile foundation bridges, and allied structures such as side drains in urban and rural areas. Contractors must be registered with PEC in relevant categories (C-A) and have valid registration with SECP, Income Tax, Sales Tax, and PRA under relevant authorities. Affidavits on non-judicial stamp paper of PKR 1000/- are required for non-performance, litigation history, blacklisting status, and correctness of information supplied. Bidders must submit bid security of 5% of the estimated cost through the Punjab e-Procurement System. The lowest evaluated bidder will be selected subject to submission of performance guarantee of 10% of contract amount within 15 days of offer letter receipt. The technical bid will be opened on 28.09.2026 at 01:00 PM at the office of Commissioner D.G. Khan Division. Financial bids will be opened after technical evaluation for only technically qualified bidders. All documents must be uploaded on the E-Procurement System portal. Joint ventures are allowed provided each firm meets minimum criteria. Recovery against old material will be adjusted manually. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure all affidavits and registrations are up to date and uploaded correctly on the Punjab PPRA website portal to avoid disqualification. Pay close attention to the digital payment of bid security and performance guarantee through the e-Procurement system as physical securities are not accepted.
