Electrical & Mechanical Works for Installation of Weather Surveillance Radar at Multan

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) under the Ministry of Defence (Defence Division) invites qualified contractors to submit technical and financial proposals for the procurement of Electrical and Mechanical (E&M) works related to the installation of a Weather Surveillance Radar at Multan. This project is managed under the Flood Forecasting Division (FFD) located at 46-Jail Road, Lahore. Items being procured: - Electrical & Mechanical (E&M) works for installation of Weather Surveillance Radar at Multan The scope includes comprehensive electrical and mechanical installations necessary for the operational readiness of the radar system. The work will be executed under the supervision of the Project Director at the Flood Forecasting Division, Lahore. Bidders must ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards as per the tender documents. Eligibility criteria require a valid PEC License Category C6 or above in relevant codes EE04, EE11, Me07 (v), ME01 etc., along with active taxpayer status on FBR (NTN) and PRA (PST) lists. A bid security of 2% amounting to Rs 423,814.00 must be submitted along with a non-blacklisting affidavit on stamp paper. The bid security and affidavit must reach the Flood Forecasting Division office at 46-Jail Road, Lahore by the submission deadline. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 17 November 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Flood Forecasting Division, Lahore. Bidders may also participate via Zoom by requesting the link at least one day prior via email. Electronic bids must be submitted exclusively through the EPADS V2.0 portal (www.eprocure.gov.pk). Tender documents are available on EPADS V2.0, PMD (www.pmd.gov.pk), and PPRA (www.ppra.org.pk) websites. One hard copy of the bid with clearly quoted items and rates must be submitted to the Project Director's office in Lahore along with other requested documents. PMD reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids under Rule 33 of Public Procurement Rules, 2004. Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their bids ensuring all technical and financial requirements are met and to submit bids well before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues on the EPADS portal.
