Emergency Maintenance Works for Removal of Snowfall on N-25, N-40-I, N-50 & N-65

The National Highway Authority (NHA), Balochistan-North Region, Quetta, invites experienced and registered contractors to submit e-Bids for 18 emergency maintenance works focused on the removal of snowfall across multiple national highways including N-25, N-40-I, N-50, and N-65. These works are critical to ensure safe and uninterrupted traffic flow during the winter season in the region. Items being procured: - Removal of Snowfall on N-25 from km 545 to 585 - Removal of Snowfall on N-25 from km 585 to 645 - Removal of Snowfall on N-25 from km 645 to 670 - Removal of Snowfall on N-25 from km 670 to 700 - Removal of Snowfall on N-25 from km 700 to 730 - Removal of Snowfall on N-25 from km 775 to 790 - Removal of Snowfall on N-25 from km 790 to 804 - Removal of Snowfall on N-40-I from km 0 to 10 - Removal of Snowfall on N-40-I from km 30 to 40 - Removal of Snowfall on N-50 from km 0 to 35 - Removal of Snowfall on N-50 from km 35 to 55 - Removal of Snowfall on N-50 from km 55 to 67 - Removal of Snowfall on N-50 from km 67 to 77 - Removal of Snowfall on N-50 from km 77 to 90 - Removal of Snowfall on N-50 from km 90 to 115 - Removal of Snowfall on N-65 from km 340 to 355 - Removal of Snowfall on N-65 from km 355 to 370 - Removal of Snowfall on N-65 from km 370 to 385 The scope includes emergency clearance of snow accumulation on the specified highway sections to maintain road safety and accessibility. Contractors must have valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in Category C-5 with specialization codes CE-01 and CE-10. Firms must also be registered with the Income Tax Department and appear on the Active Taxpayers List of the Federal Board of Revenue. Bidding documents detailing terms, conditions, and procurement method (Single Stage - Two Envelopes) will be available for free download from the NHA e-bidding website starting November 2, 2026. Technical e-Bids must be submitted electronically before 1200 hours on November 10, 2026, with technical bids opening at 1300 hours the same day. Financial bids of only technically qualified bidders will be opened subsequently. A bid security of 5% of the engineer's estimate is required. All bidders are advised to register immediately on the PPRA e-procurement system (EPADS) at www.eprocure.gov.pk as manual bids will soon be discontinued.
