Tender Description
The Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) in Lahore, Punjab, is procuring equipment for the implementation of the Black Soldier Fly Composting Pilot Project. This procurement is aimed at enhancing waste management through innovative composting technology using black soldier flies.

The technical scope involves supplying specialized equipment designed for the composting process using black soldier flies. This project is a pilot initiative to improve organic waste processing efficiency and sustainability at LWMC facilities. The procurement will be conducted online through the Punjab e-procurement system under rule 38(2)(a) of PPR-14, using a Single Stage Two Envelope procedure with least cost selection.
Eligible bidders must comply with the bidding document requirements, including submission of Earnest Money (Bid Security) amounting to 5% of the estimated price, which is approximately PKR 295,294. Bidders should be registered with FBR and have relevant experience in supplying similar composting or waste management equipment. Joint ventures or consortiums are not allowed.
The bidding documents are available for free download from the PPRA Punjab website and the Punjab e-procurement system portal. Completed bids must be submitted online by 1100 Hours on or before **August 05, 2026**. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 1130 Hours in the presence of bidders or their representatives.
