Tender Description
The National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) is procuring the establishment of eight fully equipped IT labs on a turnkey basis at Public Technical & Vocational Education and Training Institutes located in Karachi. This procurement covers the supply, provision, and installation of a wide range of IT equipment and related services including interactive smart screens, desktop computers, network routers and switches, printers, air conditioners, LAN works, furniture, audio systems, UPS, CCTV systems, electrical wiring, and renovation works such as flooring, painting, ceiling, blinds, and paneling.
The scope involves comprehensive turnkey delivery including installation, testing, and commissioning of all equipment and infrastructure. The labs will be furnished with modern technology such as 75-inch interactive smart displays with Android and Windows compatibility, Intel i5 OPS units, high-performance desktop computers with Windows 11, advanced networking equipment supporting latest protocols, and energy-efficient inverter air conditioners. The project also includes civil works like tile flooring, false ceilings, and electrical wiring to ensure a fully functional and modern learning environment.
Eligible bidders must be registered with FBR and SECP where applicable, possess relevant PEC categories, and demonstrate experience of at least two IT-related projects worth PKR 150 million or more in the last three years. Additionally, bidders must have established at least 20 IT labs in the public sector during the past three years. Manufacturer's authorization letters and warranty certificates are mandatory. The technical bid requires detailed documentation including company profile, financial statements, and proof of past experience.
The tender follows a Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method with a bid validity of 120 days. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by **July 1, 2026, 11:00 AM**. Manual submissions are not accepted. The bid security of PKR 9,000,000 must be submitted physically before the deadline to the Procurement Cell at NAVTTC HQ Islamabad. The opening of bids will be live on EPADS at 11:30 AM the same day.
