Tender Description
The Tourism Development Corporation Punjab (TDCP) invites bids for the establishment of new terminals and recamping of existing terminals for the Sightseeing Bus Service in Lahore. This project aims to enhance the tourism infrastructure by providing modern and efficient bus terminals to facilitate sightseeing services across the city.
The technical scope includes construction and civil works for new terminals, refurbishment and upgrading of existing facilities, and ensuring all infrastructure meets the required standards for public transport and tourism services. The project duration is six months, and bidders must be registered with a valid PEC license in category C-3 or above. Firms must also be active filers with NTN and PRA, demonstrating relevant experience in similar projects.
Bidding will be conducted through the e-PADS system of the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA). The technical and financial bids must be submitted online by 21st July 2026 before 11:30 AM, with bid opening at 12:00 PM the same day. Earnest Money in the form of a CDR or unconditional bank guarantee amounting to 1.799 million PKR (5% of estimated cost) is mandatory. Manual bids or submissions via post or telegraph will not be accepted.
A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 8th July 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Conference Room, PMU-TDCP, 68-Trade Center Block, M.A Johar Town, Lahore. Bidders are advised to carefully review the bidding documents available on the official PPRA and Punjab e-procurement websites. One practical tip for bidders is to ensure all documents, including the bid security and technical criteria, are complete and uploaded correctly on e-PADS to avoid disqualification. Strict adherence to PPRA rules and timely submission will enhance chances of success in this competitive tender.
