Conducting Three Exploratory Boreholes for Setting Up Reverse Osmosis Plant at Various Locations

Karachi Port Trust (KPT) invites experienced and registered bidders to participate in the procurement for conducting three exploratory boreholes aimed at setting up a Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plant at various locations in Karachi. This tender is issued under PPRA Rule 36 (a) and requires bidders to be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in Category C-6 or above. The scope of work includes drilling works up to an expected depth of 700 feet, development and flushing, temporary casing as per site requirements, water sampling and testing at intervals between 80 to 100 feet, and preparation of a hydro-geological report. Water quality tests will cover TDS, EC, hardness, pH, chlorides, sulphates, and bacteriological analysis. Along with the online submission, bidders must also submit an original hard copy of their bids in a sealed envelope at the time of tender opening. Eligibility criteria include valid PEC registration, NTN certificate, online tax verification, SRB certificate, and an affidavit confirming no default or blacklisting. Financial requirements specify a minimum average turnover of Rs. 1 million over the last three years for companies or firms, and tax returns for individuals or sole proprietors.
