Expression of Interest for Development of Grade 9 & 11 Textbooks by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Textbook Board Peshawar

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Textbook Board (KPTBB), Peshawar, invites Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from reputed national publishing firms for the development of textbooks for Grades 9 and 11. These textbooks are to be based on the Curriculum 2022-2026 as notified by the Directorate of Curriculum & Teacher Education (DCTE) KP, in strict accordance with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Textbooks and Learning Materials Policy (KPTLM), 2017. Items being procured: - English (Grades 9 & 11) - Mathematics (Grades 9 & 11) - Urdu (Grades 9 & 11) - Pak Study (Urdu Medium) (Grade 9) - Islamiat Compulsory (Grade 9) - Computer Science (Grades 9 & 11) - Biology (Grades 9 & 11) - Chemistry (Grades 9 & 11) - Physics (Grades 9 & 11) - General Science (Grade 9) The scope includes the development and production of high-quality textbooks aligned with the notified curriculum. Interested publishers must have proven experience and technical capacity in textbook development. Prequalification documents are available free of cost from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Textbook Board office during office hours (09:00 AM to 05:00 PM) on working days and can also be downloaded from the official website https://tbb.kp.gov.pk. Applicants must be registered with the Income Tax authorities and possess adequate experience as detailed in the prequalification documents. The Board will evaluate credentials and notify successful publishers for subsequent stages. No manuscript submission is required at this stage. Qualified publishers will bear all expenses related to manuscript development, submission, reviews, and NOCs as per approved rates. Applications must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the Secretary, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Textbook Board, Peshawar, by or before the closing date of 05-10-2026. Incomplete or improperly supported applications will be rejected. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all EOIs at any stage, with reasons, in accordance with applicable rules and policies.
