Tender Description
This tender invites contractors in Awaran, Balochistan, through the Deputy Director Agriculture On Farm Water Management for construction and development works under PSDP 2025-26. The project covers building farm ponds, developing dug wells, installing solar pumping systems, and supplying fruit plants, oilseeds, pulses, and fodder with land preparation. These works are critical for enhancing agricultural water management and productivity in the region.
The scope involves civil construction of water retention structures and installation of solar-powered pumps, which require specialized knowledge of irrigation and flood control systems. The site in Awaran presents challenges such as remote access and water scarcity, demanding robust engineering solutions and quality materials. Contractors must be prepared to handle these complexities while ensuring timely completion.
Bidders must hold PEC registration in categories CE04(ii), CE04(v), CE09(ii), CE10(i), and EE11(ii), covering irrigation, water supply, general civil works, and solar energy. Active tax registration and FBR ATL status are mandatory, along with submission of audit reports and financial statements for the last three fiscal years. The firm should demonstrate a turnover of at least PKR 18.35 million and provide a 2% bid security via Call Deposit or Bank Guarantee.
The submission deadline is set for 31 March 2026 at 11:45 AM, with technical bids opening the same day at 12:45 PM. Bids must be submitted physically at the Deputy Director Agriculture On Farm Water Management office in Awaran. Tender documents are available on the BPPRA website, and a non-refundable fee of Rs.1500 is required.
Pro-Tip: Carefully verify the stamp duty requirements as per the policy, since successful bidders must submit judicial or adhesive stamps, a detail often overlooked but crucial for bid acceptance.
