Tender Description
The Police Department, Government of Sindh, invites bids for the supply of feeding items for horses of the Mounted Police South Zone Karachi. This procurement is specifically for the Mounted Police unit located in Karachi, Sindh. Items being procured:
- Loosen Hara (Fresh) daily after issuance of Purchase Order
- Other feeding items monthly after issuance of purchase order
The scope includes delivery and supply of fresh and monthly feeding items to the Police Station Clifton office of Incharge Mounted Police Clifton Karachi. The materials must meet the approved samples and quality standards as per the tender documents. The contract requires bidders to submit earnest money equal to 2% of the total bid amount and performance security of 10% of the contract value. Bidders must be registered with FBR and Sales Tax authorities and provide proof of relevant experience and financial capability. The evaluation criteria include approved samples, financial capabilities, and relevant experience with minimum qualifying marks of 80%.
Technical and financial proposals (2 copies each) must be submitted by 1400 hours on the closing date at the office of Deputy Inspector General of Police South Zone, near Police Station Artillery Maiden Karachi. The bids will be publicly opened at 1430 hours on the same day. Submission by fax or email is not accepted. The successful bidder will be responsible for timely delivery and supply as per contract terms. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all required documents, including CNIC copies and authorization letters, are complete and properly sealed to avoid disqualification. Also, strictly adhere to the submission deadline and provide samples as requested to meet the evaluation criteria.
