Procurement of Fire Fighting Equipment for Heavy Industries Taxila

Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) invites Pakistani suppliers to submit competitive offers for the procurement of fire fighting equipment on FOR Taxila Cantt basis. This procurement is specifically for the Heavy Rebuild Factory (M) located in Taxila Cantt, Punjab. The scope includes a comprehensive range of fire fighting items such as DCP fire extinguishers (50 Kg), CO2 extinguishers of various sizes (2 Kg to 50 Kg), AFFF type extinguishers, fire buckets, fire hooks, safety helmets, and other related tools and accessories. The equipment must meet international standards with clear labeling, test certificates, and pass hydrostatic and functional discharge tests. Suppliers must provide after-sale support and annual maintenance certificates. Eligibility criteria require firms to be registered with HIT and not blacklisted or defaulted with any government or defense organization. Active taxpayer status on the FBR ATL is mandatory. Firms must submit a postal order of Rs. 2000, along with professional tax clearance, firm registration, affidavits for no blacklisting and no litigation, and a technical qualification list. Earnest money of 5% of the contract value must be submitted as CDR or bank guarantee with the commercial quotation. The technical and commercial bids must be submitted in separate sealed envelopes clearly marked as per instructions. The tender opening is scheduled for 04 May 2026 at 1100 hours at HIT Taxila, with no bids accepted after 1030 hours. Delivery and inspection will be conducted at HIT Taxila Cantt. Payment will be made through cheque after acceptance of stores. Offers must remain valid for 180 days and include all taxes and delivery charges.
