Tender Description
The Medical Superintendent of DHQ Hospital Jhelum invites electronic bids through the Punjab E-Procurement System from eligible bidders including manufacturers, sole distributors, authorized dealers, and distributors holding a valid CDSL strictly from District Jhelum as per LP Guidelines vide No. SO(E&P)C-6/5-2025(Misc) dated 11 June 2026. This framework contract covers the local purchase of medicines and surgical disposables, laboratory items, general store items, X-Ray and radiology items, refilling of medical gases cylinders, and printing items for the financial year 2026-27.

Bidding shall be conducted through Open Competitive Bidding (Single Stage-Two Envelope) procedures as specified in the Punjab Procurement Rules PPRA 2014 (amended). Interested bidders may obtain bidding documents from the Punjab e-procurement system and the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website. Bids must be submitted electronically on the Punjab e-Procurement System by the prescribed time. No manual or physical submission is allowed. The bid security must be 2% of the estimated price and submitted with the technical bid. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders' representatives at the Medical Superintendent's office on 23-09-2026 at 10:00 AM for submission and 10:30 AM for opening.
Eligibility requires valid registration certificates including NTN, FBR, and ATL. Taxes will be deducted as per applicable government rules. The same rates contract will be implemented for zakat funds received by the hospital during the year.
Bidders are advised to carefully review the bidding documents and ensure timely submission through the e-procurement portal. Early preparation of technical and financial bids is recommended to avoid last-minute issues.
