Tender Description

The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) Islamabad is procuring general furniture and allied items for the NSHS FY-2025-26 at its H-12 Campus in Islamabad. This procurement targets reliable, experienced, and financially sound manufacturers or suppliers of furniture with valid NTN and Sales Tax registration. The scope includes supply of visitor chairs, green notice boards, computer tables/desks, and student chairs with desks as per detailed specifications and samples provided in Annex-A. Bidders must be registered with FBR for sales and income tax, active on the tax payer list, registered with SECP as furniture manufacturers, and not blacklisted or under litigation. The technical proposal must conform to the specifications attached in Annex-F. Bids should be quoted in PKR, inclusive of all taxes, and valid for at least 90 days after opening. A minimum warranty period of one year is required, covering repair, maintenance, and replacement without additional cost. The submission deadline is strictly enforced, with bids to be submitted through the EPADS system. A refundable bid security equal to 3% of the total quoted value must accompany the bid, payable to NUST Islamabad. The bidding documents processing fee of Rs. 5,000 must be submitted physically at the time of technical bid opening. Delivery time shall not exceed four weeks, with installation and commissioning within two weeks. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all required documents, including NTN, Sales Tax certificates, bid security, and technical compliance sheets, are complete and correctly labeled to avoid rejection. Early inspection of samples at the P&LP Directorate is recommended to align quotations with NUST standards.
