Tender Description
This tender invites experienced firms in geophysical investigations to conduct a detailed survey for the 2.71MW Khurshidabad Hydropower Project in Muzaffarabad, Azad Jammu & Kashmir. The Power Development Organization requires expertise in Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) and Seismic Refraction Tomography (SRT) to assess subsurface conditions critical for project success.
The scope involves advanced geophysical techniques to map underground features and ensure the structural integrity of the hydropower site. The survey will provide essential data for engineering design and risk mitigation in this challenging terrain. Firms must demonstrate proven experience in similar hydroelectric projects and familiarity with local geological conditions.
Bidders should ensure compliance with PEC registration and maintain an active FBR ATL status for the financial year 2025-26. The tender requires submission of Earnest Money amounting to 10% of the quoted bid price, in line with procurement rules. Technical and financial bids will be evaluated under the single stage single envelope procedure.
The submission deadline is set for 17th February 2026 at 14:20 hours, with bid opening scheduled the same day at 15:00 hours. Bids must be delivered in sealed envelopes to the office of the Deputy Director (Planning), Power Development Organization, PDO Complex, Upper Chattar, Muzaffarabad.
