Provision of Glass Partition at SINES Building at NUST Campus Sector H-12, Islamabad

The Works Directorate of the National University of Science & Technology (NUST) invites sealed bids for the procurement of civil works involving the provision of glass partitions at the SINES Building located at NUST Campus Sector H-12, Islamabad. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be executed under a National Single Stage-One Envelope bidding procedure using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. Items being procured: - Supply and fix 12mm thick plate glass partition/door including accessories such as pivot machine, handle lock (2.24 sqm) - Tempering of glass sheets (2.24 sqm) - Supply and fix frosted paper of any design/pattern over plain glass (2.24 sqm) - Cutting through walls for doors, windows or openings in burnt brick work, stone masonry or concrete block (7.64 cum) - Supply and fix kitchen floor/sink floor cabinet with soft wood frame, MDF laminated board shutter, chromium plated mongery, RCC slab, marble slab (14 mtr) - Taking up or down tiles/marble/granite work (16.54 sqm) - Burnt brick work in walls 115 mm thick (4.8 cum) - Providing and laying PCC 1:2:4 as under layer for terrazzo/tiles (1.03 cum) - Cement plaster 1:4, 13 mm thick (41.87 sqm) - Providing and laying deluxe quality tiles (41.87 sqm) - Distempering with poly vinyl distemper, 1st and 2nd coat (150 sqm) - Supply and fix kitchen wall cabinet with laminated MDF shutter and CP mongery (16.45 mtr) - Supply and fix u-PVC soil and waste pipe 75 mm dia (25 mtr) - Supply and fix PPR pipe 25 mm dia with fittings (18 mtr) - Basin mixer deluxe quality (2 each) - Tee stop cock CP (4 each) - One three pin socket outlet 15A with wiring complete (20 each) - Multi socket light plug 10A 250V with back box (25 each) - Wiring in conduit with PVC insulated cable 2.5 mm² and 4 mm² (90 mtr and 40 mtr) - Supply and fixing of PVC Dura Duct 16x25 (50 mtr) - Gang power socket 15A 250V with back box (5 each) The scope includes supply, installation, and finishing of glass partitions and associated cabinetry and electrical and plumbing fittings at the specified NUST campus location. The works shall be executed in occupied hostels with minimal disturbance to residents and university operations. The contractor must ensure quality workmanship, protection of existing facilities, proper housekeeping, and compliance with safety regulations. Eligible bidders must be registered with FBR and PEC, submit a Rs 3,000 tender fee, and provide 2% bid security in the form of Pay Order, Banker's Cheque, or Demand Draft in favor of Director Works NUST. Bids must be submitted online through EPADS v2.0 by 2:45 PM on December 2, 2026, with bid opening at 3:15 PM the same day. Manual submissions will not be accepted. The contract includes a defect liability period of 365 days. Performance guarantee of 10% of contract price is required.
