Tender Description
The Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) Lahore invites bids for a Group Health Insurance Policy covering hospitalization for its employees and their dependents including spouse, children, and parents. This policy is for one year starting from 01.09.2026 and is extendable for an additional year. Items being procured:
- Group Health Insurance (Hospitalization) for employees
- Coverage for dependents: spouse, children, and parents
The insurance companies must meet strict eligibility criteria including a minimum of 15 years experience in providing group health services in Pakistan, valid licensing as a Group Life or General Insurance Company, SECP registration for health/life insurance business, GST and tax registration certificates, and a minimum AA+ rating under PACRA/JCR-VIS or any other reputed agency. Proof of rating is mandatory.
This procurement is managed by The Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) located at 33-Civic Center, Sabzazar Scheme, Lahore. The estimated cost for this one-year insurance policy is bold PKR 2.5 million. Interested insurance companies are required to submit a single envelope, single stage quotation along with a detailed company profile by the submission deadline of 17th August 2026 at 11:00 am. Bids will be opened the same day at 11:30 am.
Technical scope includes comprehensive group health insurance coverage for employees and their dependents with a valid policy period and pricing valid for 90 days from the closing date. The bidder must ensure compliance with all regulatory and financial requirements including FBR registration and SECP licensing.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all required documentation including SECP registration, tax certificates, and proof of AA+ rating are complete and clearly presented in the technical bid to avoid disqualification.
