Tender Description
Punjab Industrial Estates Development and Management Company (PIEDMC) invites bids for Group Life Insurance for its employees from AA rated and above Insurance Companies. The contract is for a period of one year (renewable). Bidders must be registered with FBR for income tax and sales tax and have their name in the active tax payers list and Punjab e-Procurement System (eP).
Items being procured:
- Group Life Insurance coverage for PIEDMC employees
Bidding will be conducted under PPRA Rules 2014 (amended) on a single stage one envelope basis. The contract will be awarded to the lowest evaluated bidder as per PPRA Rules. Bidding documents with detailed terms and conditions can be downloaded free of cost from PPRA website www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk, PIEDMC website www.pie.com.pk, and Punjab e-Procurement System (eP) https://ep.punjab.gov.pk. E-bids must be submitted on Punjab e-Procurement System (eP) by 23rd October 2026 by or before 03:00 PM. Bids will be opened at 03:30 PM on the same day as per PPRA Rules 2014. No bid other than Punjab e-Procurement system (eP) will be accepted.
Bid security amounting to Rs. 28,800/- (2% of estimated cost) must be submitted online exclusively through Bank of Punjab as per Punjab e-Procurement System regulations. No physical financial instruments will be accepted. The procurement process will follow instructions issued by the Finance Department, Govt. of Punjab. Firms blacklisted by PIEDMC or PPRA or providing false/misleading information will have their bids cancelled and be recommended for punitive action.
Note: PIEDMC management may reject all bids or proposals at any time prior to acceptance as per Rule-35 of Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (amended). A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely registration and submission on the Punjab e-Procurement System to avoid disqualification due to late or incomplete bids.
